The UK has been hit with extreme weather as the Met Office has issued flood and snow warnings.

Some areas have received both, as floods have caused many homes to be evacuated amid tight Covid-19 restrictions.

Extensive rain during Storm Bella caused the River Ouse to burst it’s banks leading to flooding across the East Midlands.

Heavy snowfall has left motorists stranded with some abandoning their cars as roads in North Yorkshire require clearing.
