Ahead of their Sunday clash against Liverpool, Manchester United’s coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was asked to weigh in on the rivalry-apparent between his side’s Cristiano Ronaldo and Liverpool’s striker Mo Salah.
“I’ll always back Cristiano in any competition, he is unique. His goal-scoring record has been fantastic, and he keeps on scoring. That being said, Salah is at the moment on fire, we know we have to be at our best to defend against him,” said the Manchester United boss.
Manchester United will face Liverpool at Old Trafford on Sunday.
