‘US and UK Set to Withdraw ALL Troops From Afghanistan by 20th 9/11 Anniversary’

President Joe Biden is set to announce that all American troops will leave Afghanistan by September 11.

Biden has decided to miss the May deadline for a pull-out agreed with the Taliban last year.

The new deadline would coincide with the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.

The UK will reportedly follow in the footsteps of the US, also withdrawing nearly all of its troops.

British and American forces were first deployed to Afghanistan in October 2001.

The so-called “war on terror” has so far cost more than 2,200 US lives and almost $1 trillion.

Afghan officials have said they respect the decision made by Washington.
