USA: Biden calls on NY Governor Cuomo to resign following confirmed sexual harassment allegations

US President Joe Biden called on New York Governor Andrew Cuomo to resign during a press conference in Washington DC on Tuesday, after an investigation confirmed that Cuomo sexually harassed 11 women.

“He should resign,” Biden said, adding, “I understand the state legislature may decide to impeach, I do not know that for a fact.”

The comment comes four months after the president said that if an investigation confirmed sexual harassment allegations against Cuomo, then he would call for the governor to step down.
