USA: Damaged commuter bus and vehicles on collapsed bridge in Pittsburgh

As many as 10 people were reportedly injured after a bridge collapsed early Friday morning in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Footage shows a commuter bus and several vehicles on a section of the collapsed bridge. Local authorities are not yet sure what caused the bridge to cave in.

The incident came before previously scheduled Friday remarks by US President Joe Biden on infrastructure, including “strengthening the nation’s supply chains, revitalizing American manufacturing, and creating good-paying union jobs” in the same city.

President Biden was scheduled to visit the city to talk about a $1 trillion infrastructure bill that includes bridge maintenance.
