As extreme weather conditions hit Louisiana, footage filmed on Sunday emerged of a roof flying off a building in Galliano amid the crossing of Hurricane Ida onto land.
Hurricane Ida is projected to cross Louisiana and arrive at the state of Mississippi by Monday, with wind speeds set to reach 240 kilometres per hour (150 miles per hour).
