USA: UPS employee among 2 killed after plane crashes in California neighbourhood

At least 2 people including a UPS driver were killed after a small plane crashed into some southern California homes on Monday.

“The number of houses that have been damaged at this point. We have two that are completely loss and you can see from behind us. Those are the ones that are completely burned that fire crews are still trying to mitigate some of the smoldering ash. And, we have an additional ten homes that have been impacted in some way the people,” explained City of Santee Deputy Fire Chief Justin Matsushita.

Firefighters were on-site in Santee as an investigation was ongoing.

“Now as far as what transpired to caused the plane to crash that still to be determined, but we do know the route of travel. Unknown number of souls on board. We’re still waiting for a confirmation,” Matsushita went on to say.
