Small Plane Crashes into Parking Lot in San Diego

Two people were injured after a plane crashed into a parking lot near a small airport in San Diego.

The single-engine aircraft had just taken off and tried to make an emergency landing, but could not make it back to the runway.

According to San Diego Fire Department, the two people involved in the crash were hospitalised with severe injuries.

The FAA and the National Transportation Safety Board are investigating the incident.
