One person was killed by Israeli security forces near Jerusalem’s Damascus Gate on Saturday, after stabbing an Israeli passerby.
The 20 year-old Israeli suffered a stab to his neck and was hospitalised. Security forces killed the assailant at the scene, treating the incident as a terror attack.
Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett expressed support for the victims, calling the perpetrator a terrorist.
