Yemen: Saudi alliance recaptures areas from Houthis in Shabwah

Forces loyal to Yemen’s internationally recognised government announced a field progress in the battlefield against Houthis in Yemen’s southeast province of Shabwah.

Footage revealed military vehicles of the Giants Brigades personnel deployed in the area.

According to media reports, the Giants Brigades affiliated with the Joint Forces, declared that “their forces managed to liberate the areas of Al-Sabbah, Al-Dima and Atiq mountin, in the west of province of Shabwah, and assumed control over the Al-Saadi junction
linking Shabwa’s Bayhan with Harib in Marib”, after fierce battles using various types of medium and heavy weapons against Houthi militias.
The developments in Shabwah Province occurred when the Giants Brigades forces, backed by air cover from the Arab coalition warplanes, launched a multi-pronged attack against Houthis, led to seizing control of Alsafraa and Alsalim districts alongside the headquarters of the 163rd Infantry Brigade camp in the province’s northwestern department of Ouselan, according to media sources.​
