Adrian's Blind Experience

A while back, I had to take a course about children with disabilities for an education credential. As a final project we had to be disabled ourselves for 20 minutes and be video recorded. Although I could have easily pretended to be deaf, we were only allowed to be either blind or in a wheelchair. I chose blind and made special glasses just for this assignment. I think I got the cane from Amazon. I debated putting this online since I made it last year because I hate the sound of my voice on recordings and thought I looked goofy in it but it's something that I now am grateful to have done because it helped me learn a lot about disabled people being in their shoes. Honestly, the experience was very frightening and I hope I never lose my sight. Hearing noises coming from all directions was scary and I couldn't tell how far away the noises were. I also didn't like bumping into everything like an idiot. My current computer is a netbook and I can't compose new videos with this. That's why I haven't made any in a long time. This video was made on an older computer I used to have. I hope my subscribers will appreciate this post. I got an A on the project and an A for the class! Fun fact, this is the first video of my collection you can hear me speaking in my nomal voice without any computerized alterations.
