Australian Vanadium signs option agreement for vanadium processing plant location

Australian Vanadium Ltd (ASX:AVL) managing director Vincent Algar updates Proactive on the signing of an option agreement over a potential site near Geraldton, WA, as a possible location for the company’s vanadium processing plant. Algar said there were a number of clear benefits of the location, including positive impacts on operating costs from using a site close to the Dampier-Bunbury gas pipeline infrastructure and lower domestic WA gas prices. The MD believes the opportunity could help boost the potential for AVL to be among the world’s lowest cost-quartile vanadium producers.
