Dear Team Gaia! Living a life to our fullest potential is innate to the human spirit. Sometimes we cruise along on our life path, sometimes we encounter challenges, and sometimes we manifest magical moments that propel us forward. And just this week a possibility revealed itself, leaving me eager to take action. Serendipitous I learned of an exceptional opportunity to contribute my skills and passion as a team member of Gaia. For the last 2 months, since my family moved to town, I have been driving past your offices. An inner voice called to me to reach out to you, and I am intrigued by the fact that my urge aligns with your request to fill the position of German Publishing Coordinator. I was born, raised, and educated in Germany. Global travels, and more than 10 years of life in Hawaii expanded my world view, and most importantly, my spirituality. My spiritual journey began at a young age, when I had an out-of-body experience. That incident left a profound mark on my soul, and cracked open the door to a deeper understanding of our humanity, and spiritual consciousness. Connecting with Gaia and contributing to the organization would be an exhilarating honor. My life course has been quite versatile, and multi-faceted. Early on in my life, I started to write and quickly found joy in this creative outlet. I celebrated my first gig as a contributing author to our local newspaper, writing detective stories. My writing became more complex and technical with the importance of detail when I earned my master's degree in business at Cologne University, in Germany. Producing in-depth reports and articles for newspapers and serving as the publishing editor for Germany's iST GmbH alumni publications further advanced my writing skills. As an exchange student in the US, I was able to immerse myself into the English language, and it was when I traveled and performed with the global leadership and educational organization Up with People, that I was able to become fluent in English. Fluency in both English and German has been a blessing and has offered me the ability to serve as a translator, and content contributor. As a business owner and freelance graphic artist, I have additionally gained skills in the production of artistic content for print, and digital media. Plus, I have acquired an understanding for social media and written promotional content in both languages. Having worked in several fields of media in both the US and German industries, has given me a broad understanding of the procedural operations of both cultures. I am confident that the skills and assets I've acquired in both Germany and the US, as well as the experiences and education gained along my life journey will support my aptitude to fill the position of Publishing Coordinator with Gaia. I am a highly motivated, positive person with a creative mind. I am a strategic, and analytical thinker with a strong commitment to detail. I am genuine, diligent and a dedicated individual who thrives as a contributing team member. These skills will equally enhance the growth of Gaia. As an involved and caring husband, and father of three, I yearn to contribute to society in a purposeful and meaningful way.
