"Kiyo" Norman Salant, Music Video

This music video directed and animated by Carol Millican features composer, sax player, singer, songwriter, Norman Salant and mixes animation with live action. The instrumental includes both tenor and soprano saxaphone. The animation, shot on 35mm film on my Oxberry camera, is a combination of top-lit hand-colored xerography on cels, and back-lit effects matted and double exposed into the scenes. Digital compositing and editorial by Post Perfect. Dance choreography by Linda Hayes. Music written, performed, and produced by Norman Salant.
