Thomas is a man of around forty who occupies an important post in a slaughterhous. What is more, he is engaged to Marie – Rose, the daughter of the manager whom he one day hopes to succeed. After a routine medical chack in the hospital, however it turns out that Thomas has cancer. His days are numbered.
