Despite the advent of industrialization and economic activity. The B’laan tribe continues to exist and inspire us with their culture. Alnolot being one of the special dish of the B’laan in Lamlifew Village uses, Native Chicken as its main ingredient, parsley, ginger, salt, and spring onions. The process of cooking is simply by mixing all the ingredients into a bowl. Put it into a bamboo stalk called lolot, then add some water and lastly place it on fire for more or less 15mins. Another delicacy of the village is a kind of Kakanin done traditionally by soaking the upland rice in water for few minutes then followed by wrapping it with banana leaves, put it inside the lolot, and again place it on fire for about 15-20mins.
