After six years in the NBA, Boštjan Nachbar returned to Europe in 2008 to continue his basketball career with Dynamo Moscow. This season, he joins the three-time German league BEKO BBL Champions Brose Baskets. Nachbar has already made an impact, scoring 26 points against ratiopharm ulm in the pre-season Champions Cup game, and then 17 points in the opening day win against the Bremerhaven Polar Bears (Eisbären). As he did with his previous European clubs, he will once again play in the Euroleague. The Baskets will be in Group D that includes CSKA Moscow, Beşiktaş JK İstanbul, and FC Barcelona Regal, whom they play on October 12th. Nachbar is looking forward to next summer, when his native country Slovenia will host Eurobasket 2013 from September 4-22. Sport Eagle sat down with Nachbar at Euroleague Media Day in Stechert Arena to talk about coming to Germany, his experience in the Euroleague and hosting the biggest party next year.
