Abandoned dog forms special bond with woman who saved her

Freddie Mercury was abandoned by her previous owners. She has suffered a whole host of health issues, including an overbite, bulging eyes, and has difficulty walking. She was also born without an epiglottis, the flap of tissue located just above the windpipe that directs the flow of air and food in the throat. Angela who has looked after many special needs animals over the years drove for hours to bring Freddie home from a shelter. Right away, she made sure that Freddie knew that she was now safe and cared for.

And in the months since, she has showered her with unbounded affection. While Freddie’s medical challenges will stay with her for the rest of her life, she’s now in a loving home, enjoying her time with a family that loves and accepts her for who she is.
