Survivors of an explosion next to a mosque in the Qala-e-Naw were treated at a hospital on Friday.

The blast, which was caused by an explosive device, reportedly took place in front of a mosque, located in the northeastern province of Badghis.

According to Doctor Sanaullah Sabit, “a total of 16 people, including injured and victims, were referred to the provincial hospital.”

Until now, group has taken responsibility for the blast. An investigation is underway.
