Crowds gathered at Afghanistan’s Chaman-Spin Boldak border crossing with Pakistan on Wednesday, the second day since the reopening of the crossing.
The border crossing had previously been closed for close to a month, halting not only migration but also the flow of goods.
Pakistani authorities had closed the border citing security precautions and COVID-19 as concerns.
People fleeing Taliban rule have been using the crossing as an escape point from Afghanistan.
