‘Alexei Navalny Transferred to Prison Hospital After Personal Doctors Denied Access’

Alexei Navalny has reportedly been transferred to hospital amid concerns he has become critically ill.

The imprisoned Kremlin critic’s health is reportedly deteriorating severely while on hunger strike.

Navalny started his hunger strike in March to protest the refusal of a private doctor.

His team of doctors released a video statement, saying they spent two hours outside the prison.

The US has warned Russia there would be “consequences” if Navalny were to die in jail.

The UK, France, Germany and the EU also expressed their concerns over his treatment.

Navalny barely survived a poisoning with the novichok nerve agent in August 2020.

He was arrested in January when he returned to Russia from Germany.
