Arrests were made in Munich as protesters opposed to COVID measures held a symbolic funeral march to commemorate former police officer and regular participant of Querdenken protests, Karl Hilz.

The protesters were reportedly arrested over violations of COVID measures.

Karl Hilz died in his sleep a week ago at the age of 64. He was one of the leading figures at regional COVID protests and was observed by the
Office for the Protection
of the Constitution.
