A ‘2G’ COVID regulation has come into force in Berlin, amid record numbers of new infections in Germany.

Only vaccinated and recovered persons are able to enter certain facilities, such as restaurants, theatres, gyms, or night clubs.

Representatives of the SPD, the CDU/CSU, and FDP have voiced their approval for further COVID regulations to be applied from December.
