Brawls erupted between Israeli nationalists and Palestinians in Jerusalem’s Old City on Sunday.

Over 3,000 Israeli police were deployed throughout the city ahead of rally, in which flag-waving Israeli nationalists planned to walk through the city.

In a show of force, nationalist Israelis started their parade through the heart of the main Palestinian Avenue.
