The city of Abbotsford in British Colombia appeared inundated by flooding on Tuesday, just three days after experiencing its wettest recorded day.
Fields were submerged by water, with one resident seen using a jetski as transport.
The flooding came three days after the city experienced its wettest day on record on Sunday, with 4 inches of rain reportedly falling in the space of 24 hours.
On Tuesday, local authorities urged 1,100 homes in the Sumas Prairie region to evacuate due to the rainfall, with residents being instructed to abandon efforts to save livestock.
