Numerous damaged properties were seen in the aftermath of the arrival of Hurricane Larry in St. John’s, in Canada’s island of Newfoundland, on Saturday.

An entire stage set can be seen covered in a blue tent, with lighting equipment shattered. Tree trunks can also be seen pulled of the ground from the force of the hurricane. According to local reports, nearly 60,000 people were left without power as a result. Brick walls of buildings can also be seen pulled off from the strong gusts of wind.

St. John’s Mayor Danny Breen said “Hurricane Larry caused a significant amount of tree and property damage throughout our city. We’re fully staffed today and our crews have been addressing priority areas, which Deputy City Manager Windsor will discuss later. On our roads, lanes are reduced on many streets due to debris.”
