Chilean President Sebastian Pinera received President-elect Gabriel Boric and his team of advisors at the La Moneda Palace on Monday in Santiago.
Pinera was seen giving Boric and his team Chilean flag pins. The President-elect and his team adorned them and posed for photos with Pinera in the presidential palace.
Boric is due to be sworn in as president of Chile on March 11. He beat his right-wing rival Jose Antonio Kast in a runoff election on Sunday.
