China: At least 3 dead and 60 injured as powerful earthquake hits Sichuan

Over 120 residents were successfully rescued from under the rubble in an emergency operation.
Drone footage shows a massive makeshift camp being set up by the Chinese Red Cross to assist the victims of the disaster. For security reasons, the authorities blocked access to the epicentre of the disaster.
The earthquake hit the Luxian county in the early hours of Thursday morning, triggering the nation’s second-highest level-II response by the Sichuan authorities.
