Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan met with his counterpart from the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Felix Tshisekedi, on Sunday in Kinshasa.

The Turkish president was received for discussions on bilateral relations at the presidential palace, as part of an official ceremony.

Erdogan’s visit to the Democratic Republic of the Congo marks the start of his four-day diplomatic tour in Africa, where he is also set to visit Senegal and Guinea-Bissau.
