'Do not play with human lives' - Baerbock to Putin

German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock appealed to Russian President Vladimir Putin not to ‘play with human lives’ in Brussels on Monday, as the EU Foreign Affairs Council prepared to convene.

On Friday, the head of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) Denis Pushilin announced the evacuation of civilians to Russia, to avoid their getting caught in the crossfire amid multiple accusations of ceasefire violations in the region.
