This video published by the Lebanese Army shows crews clearing rubble and debris in the port area of Beirut, while searching for missing bodies and any clues that might help us understand what caused 2,750 tonnes of ammonium nitrate to detonate.

The explosion killed at least 220 people and left an estimated 300,000 homeless.

The tragedy led to the Lebanese Prime Minister Hassan Diab announcing his resignation, while several officials have been arrested as part of an investigation into the explosion.
