Dramatic Rescue! Person Pulled from Rubble of Fatal Maharashtra Building Collapse

At least eight people have died and at least 11 injured after a four-storey building collapsed in Maharashtra, central India.

India’s National Disaster Response Force said the unexpected collapse happened at around 4am local time.

The building was over 30-years-old and due for repairs, which couldn’t be carried out due to lockdown.

During monsoon season building collapses are common as heavy rains weaken the foundations of old or poorly constructed structures.
