France: Emergency services on site after fire breaks out near Paris home of PM Castex

Emergency services arrived near Matignon Palace, the Parisian home of Prime Minister Jean Castex on Tuesday, after a fire broke out in a renovated building nearby on the Cite Varennes.

Firefighters and police officers cordoned off the area as they attempted to extinguish the fire.

Castex’s home was not affected. The cause of the fire is still unknown.
