USA: Firefighters tackling nation"s largest wildfire in Oregon

More than two thousand firefighters were deployed to contain the country’s largest active wildfire in Oregon, as seen on Monday.

The so-called Bootleg Fire spread through the territory of over 300,000 acres (1,230 sq km).

So far, some 30 percent of the blaze have contained, the Oregon Department of Forestry reported.

The hot, dry weather is likely to be fuelling the massive fire, complicating the work for the authorities.
