France: No debut date yet for Messi - PSG boss Pochettino

Paris Saint-Germain coach Mauricio Pochettino has not revealed a debut date for the Lionel Messi at a press conference he held on Friday in Paris, France.
Pochettino explained that he wanted to take it ‘step by step’ to give Messi the chance to get to know the club and feel comfortable before his first game. “Whenever he is in his best conditions then he can debut”, he added.
Messi who has recently won the Copa America against Brazil with his home team Argentina only had two training sessions with PSG. “Our staff listens to the players a lot, the players understand that we work for them, that we want the best for them in order to be able to perform in the best way possible in the pitch. It’s true that he comes from a month without competing, so we need to listen to him a lot, also listening to our own experience and feeling in the next training sessions and then we’ll make a decision,” said Pochettino.
Players that are considered some of the best talents in football currently play with the French club, among them Mbappe , Neymar and Messi. Nevertheless, according to coach Pochettino, PSG ‘still doesn’t have a team’.
“We have many names that shine for themselves, and the biggest challenge for our staff is that those names play as a team, that they behave in the field with discipline and organization to achieve results. And that’s our challenge, that we are taking with enthusiasm and a lot of energy. We’re are going to try to do the best for this club that deserves it”, he said.
