France: Police cordon off Paris street after car crashes into cafe, leaves one dead

French police cordoned off a street in Paris late on Thursday after a car crashed against an outdoor cafe terrace in the 17th district of the capital.

Six people were injured and one killed in the incident.

According to local sources, the driver fled the scene on foot, and the crash is suspected to be an accident.

As the investigation continues, police asked people to stay away from the sealed area.
