‘Gaza Refugee Camp Struck As Biden Urges Humanitarian Pause’

Asked how progress is coming along for a humanitarian pause, US President Joe Biden seemed positive, after a refugee camp on the Gaza strip was attacked by Israeli forces on Saturday night. The attack has left at least 38 dead, and at least 100 people injured, with children among the fatalities at the al-Maghazi camp.

This attack follows yesterday’s meeting of US and Arab world leaders, where US Secretary of State Antony Blinken rejected their calls for a ceasefire, warning that the US fears it would allow Hamas to regroup and cause a repeat of 7th October terror attacks.
