Minister-president of Brandenburg Dietmar Woidke discussed the possibilities of tighter restrictions in the region as COVID cases surge throughout the nation.

“2G and 2G plus must be implemented nationwide for events,” stated Woidke.

While stressing that more vaccinations and boosters are also key to beating the surge, Woidke discussed the upcoming situations for bars and clubs.

“Clubs, bars, and nightclubs, at least when there his high incidence, must be closed. This is a debate that is still being discussed. Places where there is an incidence higher than 750 in a few days in a row are closed here right now,” announced Woidke.
