Germany: Entire street of cobblestones stolen in Zittau

Thieves have stolen cobblestones in an area of around 280 square metres (3,014 square feet) at the Zittau freight station, according to federal police on Tuesday.

Deutsche Bahn contacted police and stated that it suspected that the perpetrators had stolen the stones between December 16 and January 3.

At the moment, the federal police have estimated the damages amounting over 30,000€

An investigation is currently underway.
