Germany: 'Intensive week' ahead for SPD, Greens, FDP after first round of three-way talks

Social Democratic Party (SPD), Free Democratic Party (FDP) and the Greens spokespeople acknowledged they were looking at an ‘intensive week’ of exploratory talks after the first set of three-party coalition talks in Berlin on Thursday.

All three parties held one-to-one talks last week, in a build-up to further negotiations on a potential governing majority in the Bundestag (German Parliament).
