Protesters gathered in Saarbrucken on Saturday to march against the government’s measures to curb the spread of the Coronavirus.

At the demonstration that was attended by some 1,500 people, protesters created noise with drums and whistles and carried banners that read ‘We are the red line.’ Others held signs criticising mandatory vaccinations.

The vaccine mandate proposal remains a heavily discussed topic in Germany, one of the countries with the lowest vaccination rate in Western Europe.
