Germany: Thousands join anti-Pegida rally in Dresden

According to local reports, just under 1000 people had gathered for the Pegida rally, while about 2500 to 3000 demonstrators joined the counter-protest.
Both demonstrations were separated by fences and police barriers as around 700 officers were deployed around the city.
Loud left-wing protesters could be seen taking a stand against hatred, racism, fascism, sexism and homophobia.
