German Defence Minister Christine Lambrecht held with NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg a joint press conference in Berlin on Tuesday.

Lambrecht condemned Russia’s activities on the border with Ukraine saying, “the Russian deployment on the Ukrainian border infringes all rules of peaceful cooperation, without ifs and or buts, and we have not forgotten, the aggressor is Moscow, the aggressor is Russia.”

The NATO secretary-general praised Germany’s commitments to the organisation and invited all NATO members who participated in the NATO-Russia Council to deliberate again on the current situation between Russia-Ukraine.
