NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg held a final press conference following the meeting of NATO foreign ministers, in Riga on Wednesday.

The Secretary-General stated that “any future Russian aggression would come at a high price and have serious political and economic consequences for Russia,” as he reiterated his stark warnings to Moscow amid Russia’s military build-up on the Ukraine border.

The presence of officials of Georgia and Ukraine added to the political importance of the Foreign Ministers of the 30 NATO members in the Latvian capital. The agenda of the two-day meeting was set to focus on the ongoing tensions between Ukraine and Russia as well as the migrant crisis on the Belarus-Poland border.
