Yokohama’s 18m-tall Gundam statue could be seen lit up and doing its tricks on Wednesday, as part of Yorunoyo - the city’s winter light show.
The life-size moving robot will throw a shining performance twice a day, after the sun sets, until December 26.
Inaugurated a year ago, the robot is the most impressive feature of the Gundam Factory Yokohama, a venue dedicated to the iconic Japanese military fiction series.
