Pope Francis led a Holy Mass at the Megaron concert hall, Athens, on Sunday, as part of his five-day trip to Cyprus and Greece.
Ritual acts of the Holy Mass such as incense burning and the gifting of relics were held on stage, with Pope Francis and other clergy members taking part.
According to the organisers, only 900 visitors were allowed into the hall with the Pope, instead of 2,000, due to COVID-19 security measures.
Pope Francis is the second Catholic leader to visit Greece in the last twenty years. His trip to the region is an attempt to foster further collaboration between the Catholic and Greek Orthodox churches.
