Roads flooded in Athens following heavy rains on Thursday. The weather front, named storm Ballos, caused extensive power outages and disruptions in the Greek capital.
Authorities issued a warning to citizens during the downpour to not venture outside for their own safety.
The island of Evia also suffered heavily from storm Ballos. On Sunday the island was hit with heavy rains which damaged hundreds of properties.
