Worshippers visited the Che Kung Temple in Hong Kong on Thursday, during the third day of the Lunar New Year, to light incense and pray to deities for blessings, good luck and the end of the COVID pandemic.
The Che Kung Temple - the largest Taoist temple in Hong Kong - had to be closed later in the day due to it reaching over-capacity.
Hong Kong recorded 142 new COVID-19 cases on Thursday despite the government’s drive for zero infection.
