This horrifying video shows a huge fire that broke out in a six-storey shopping mall in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

At least 46 people have died in the fire and dozens have been injured.

Officials report state that most died from suffocation, with others dying as they jumped off the building during the fire.

The fire began in a restaurant Green Cozy Cottage Shopping Mall, at around 22:00 local time on Thursday.

13 units of firefighters were at the scene battling for two hours to douse the flames.

A fire department team entered the charred building on Friday morning to see if there were more bodies, and forensic experts began looking for evidence.
