Residents in Prayagraj could be seen swimming and rowing boats across floodwaters on Friday after the city experienced some of its worst floods in 40 years.

Rising levels from the nearby rivers of the Ganga and Yamuna have completely submerged buildings and entire streets in the region, causing fear the Uttar Pradesh city could relive some of its worst floods.
